Im Fall der „Neuen Grippe“ bin ich von der Sinnhaftigkeit der Impfung bei meiner Entscheidungsfindung noch weit entfernt. Die „Neue Grippe“ verläuft, so lese ich es in den Medien, in den meisten Fällen weniger aggressiv, als die „normale“ Grippe. Und gegen diese haben wir uns auch nicht impfen lassen. Trotzdem verfalle ich langsam in eine Art Hysterie. Der Seifenverbrauch unserer Familie ist in den vergangenen Wochen exponentiell gestiegen. Kaum haben wir unser Haus betreten, folgt schon meine Frage: „Hast Du Dir schon die Hände gewaschen?“ Ehrlich gesagt, die ganze Familie ist davon schon vollkommen genervt. Mittlerweile geht meine Angst vor dem Virus H1N1 schon soweit, dass ich mir ernsthaft überlege, ob ich mit meinem vierjährigen Sohn einen Indoor-Spielplatz besuchen will. Immerhin könnten sich hier zahlreiche potentielle Neue-Grippe-Überträger tummeln.
Vorgestern war ich beim Einkaufen. In meinem Einkaufswagen fand sich – leider habe ich es nicht gleich bemerkt, sonst hätte ich einen anderen Wagen genommen – ein benutztes Taschentuch. Igitt! Mir lief es gleich heiß und kalt den Rücken hinunter. Gott sei Dank, bin ich im Moment mit Desinfektionstüchern gut ausgestattet. Mit spitzen Fingern und einem Desinfektionstuch als „Greifhilfe“ habe ich das feindliche Objekt erst einmal in den Mülleimer befördert. Und im Anschluss meinen Einkaufswagen an besagter Taschentuchstelle desinfiziert. Im Nachhinein habe ich mich gefragt, ob ich vielleicht bald überschnappe. Trotzdem halte ich ein bisschen Prävention in Sachen Grippe – sei es die Neue oder auch die Normale Grippe – für absolut legitim. Heute frage ich mich auch: „Was denkt sich eigentlich jemand dabei, sein sabberndes Taschentuch in einen Einkaufswagen zu legen ??!!!!“
